Hello, my name is Jacob Salinas and I am currently a student at St. Edwards University. I am majoring in history with a minor in education so I can be a history teacher specifically U.S. history for 11th grade. I am born and raised in Austin, Texas (Original Austinite)

Profession

I originally did not want to be an teacher, I wanted to be a firefighter. I thought about becoming a teacher when I got a job working for Extend A Care for kids an after school program, I have been with the program for going on 6 years. I was an intern teacher assistant at Akins High School for 9th grade English and language arts.

Hobbies

I like to watch football (Cowboys, Texas longhorns), soccer, and baseball (Astros, Dodgers, Texas Longhorns). My favorite food to eat is chicken fried steak and bbq. In my free time I love to play pool, throw darts, play washers, horseshoes. I really enjoy listening to music and watching movies.
