For me, I have shown leadership in the classroom by overtaking 7th period class since the first week of school. It has been a challenge as it is our biggest class and our most rowdiest, but so far they have been an amazing group of students and they continue to make me prouder every day. However I have been struggling with trying to keep their attention for longer than 5 minutes, as they talk to their table-mates while I am teaching. I have also taken leadership this week by making a simple google form (Links to an external site.) for the students after they are done working on their photo essay assessment. which I have attached. The form is a quick survey asking them about their experience so far at Travis high and what are their thoughts on the stuff we have worked on in class and what is their favorite and what was their least favorite. 

Mr. Murtagh and myself have already made a call home for a student who still continues to this day by not participating in any of the classwork that we have been giving them. They have shown up to class everyday and have not missed a day which I have commended them on, but still they have no desire to work. But since we have called home they have been in a little bit more of a positive mood.
