In the process of making the pecha kucha with my fellow group mates I discovered that collaborating with one another is very important. I tinkered with an app called doink is an app that allows you to play with and use green screen. I needed help during this process of creativity when creating my set of slides. Specifically with getting my audio on my slides and also with getting my slides to be timed so they can change after a certain amount of seconds.
While in this creative process I have failed at understanding some of the material based off of the pecha kutcha. The subject is science and I am not all that bright at science so I had to constantly look up key words and definitions because I could not remember a majority of 5th grade science material. Eventually I would get a majority of my resources from a videos on youtube made by the Smithsonian Magazine and SciShow Kids and my pics are from google and giphy.
This writing experience has been different because everything is digital. Every time I have had to record something I had to write it down on paper. So writing about my experiences in Ed Tech, me commenting on my classmates experiences and them commenting on my experiences its definitely different but I enjoy it.
Sharing, exploring and socializing with other groups is so unique because I enjoy the different conversations I have with my classmates because we are all different people with different backgrounds learning from each other that is whats special about these new learning experiences.
